01Unclaimed clothes

What does “unclaimed” mean?

Every dry cleaner ends up with clothes that were dropped off, cleaned and pressed, and then never picked up. Those are unclaimed garments. Instead of letting them go to waste, we give them a second life on the Rack.

How do unclaimed items end up for sale?

Unclaimed garments are held for a waiting period first. Only after that period ends without the owner returning do they move to the Rack. Each piece keeps its original ticket number, so you can see its story.

What does the ticket number on each item mean?

It’s the original claim ticket from when the piece was dropped off for cleaning. It shows the item’s history and how long it went unclaimed. It’s part of what makes every piece one of a kind.

Are the clothes clean?

Yes. Every piece on the Rack has been professionally cleaned and pressed by The Elementals Laundry. Consigned items go through the same process before they’re listed.

02Shopping the Rack

Why is there only one of each item?

Every piece is one of one. There are no restocks and no duplicates. When an item sells, it’s gone, so if you love something, don’t wait too long.

How do I know an item’s size and condition?

Each listing shows the size, condition and photos of the actual piece. If you’re unsure about fit, visit the store and try it on before you buy.

Can I try things on before buying?

Yes. Everything on the Rack is at our Acworth store, so you can see and try on pieces in person. Find us on the Contact page.

Can you alter something I buy?

Yes. Ask at the counter when you pick up, and our team can fit and alter your piece. Alteration pricing depends on the work needed. Note that altered items can’t be returned.

How do I pay?

Checkout on our website is processed securely through PayPal. Available payment options are shown at checkout.

Why do prices vary?

Each piece is priced individually based on brand, condition and demand, so you get a fair price for a quality item that’s already cleaned and ready to wear.

03Returns

Can I return an item?

Yes. You can return an item within 7 days of purchase or pickup for store credit, as long as it’s unworn, unwashed, unaltered and still has the Rire&Co tag attached. Store credit works on the Rack and at The Elementals Laundry.

See our full Refund & Returns Policy.

What if an item isn’t as described?

If your item has a flaw we didn’t mention, or the size or brand doesn’t match the listing, contact us within 7 days of receiving it and we’ll give you a full refund to your original payment method.

Can I exchange for a different size?

Because every piece is one of one, we can’t exchange for another size. You can return an eligible item for store credit and choose something else from the Rack.

What can’t be returned?

Items marked Final Sale, items altered after purchase, items that have been worn or washed, and completed cleaning or alteration services.

How do I start a return?

Bring the item and your receipt to our counter, or call or text (770) 975-0739 with your order number before shipping anything back.

04Pickup & shipping

Can I pick up my order in person?

Yes. Choose local pickup at checkout and collect your order for free at The Elementals Laundry, 3330 Cobb Pkwy NW, Suite 344, Acworth, GA 30101. Your piece will be pressed and waiting on a hanger.

Do you ship?

Shipping options and costs, if available for your order, are shown at checkout before you pay.

Where are you located?

We’re inside The Elementals Laundry at 3330 Cobb Pkwy NW, Suite 344, Acworth, GA 30101. Visit the Contact page for a map and directions.

05Selling with us

Can I sell my own clothes through Rire&Co?

Yes. With our consignment service, you bring in clothes you no longer wear, and we clean, photograph, list and sell them for you. See the full details on our Sell With Us page.

How much do I earn?

With Full Service, you earn 50% of the sale price. With Resale Prep Only, you pay $15 per item for cleaning, pressing and photos, then sell it yourself and keep 100%.

How and when do I get paid?

Payouts are made monthly, as cash or as store credit you can use toward dry cleaning. A sale counts toward your payout once its 7-day return window has closed.

How many items can I bring?

Up to 15 items per drop-off. No appointment is needed, or you can book a drop-off so we expect you.

What kinds of clothes do you accept?

Coats, suits, blazers, dresses, occasion wear, designer and quality brands, denim, knitwear and leather in good condition or better. We don’t accept undergarments, swimwear, heavily worn fast fashion, or items damaged beyond repair.

What if my item doesn’t sell?

Items stay listed for 75 days. After that, you have 10 days to pick them up, or we’ll donate them for you.

What is the clean-out bag?

A Rire&Co bag you can fill with clothes you no longer wear. Bring it back with your next cleaning order and we’ll take it from there.
